Just got my results from my second beta test.......35. My level 2 days ago at 11 dpo was 34. Another failed pregnancy. Feeling really low right now. I thought this was going to work out. 5 pregnancies, 1 son. Thank god I have my son.

I guess now my question is what do you guys think I should do here. Before my son I had a partial molar pregnancy and several chemicals. Then I had my son. Last August I had another miscarriage at around 7 weeks after a fantastic heartbeat was found. And now this. Should I request to see a specialist in recurrent miscarriages or should I stick with just my general OB. Not really sure what to do, it seems like maybe there could be an underlying issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The sooner you can see a specialist, the better. I'm limited by what my insurance will cover -- if you don't have that limitation, due whatever you can as soon as you can. More information is always better than less. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the advice. I think that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm awaiting the call from the nurse with "bad news" and I am going to request an appointment with my OB to get a referral to a specialist. I'm actually thankful this ended so early, I'm hoping I get my period soon here and we can just move on.

I second seeing the specialist. Even if you've gone to term once, it sounds like there is still something going on and it doesn't hurt to get checked out. I've been blessed with two kids and am currently expecting my 3rd but it hasn't been an easy road for me to get to this point. I've had 8 miscarriage before and between my kids and the doctors still aren't sure what's going on with me. We know my thyroid might be barely borderline hyperthyroid and I have hormone issues in the first tri as well as unexplainable bleeds but I've miscarried even while taking the meds that have helped me go to term thus far so we know I've got something more going on. I'm exploring other options atm (seeing a naturopath and looking into acupuncture) in hopes that I'll one day have an answer.

Thank you for the advice dairy :flower:

Also, thank you for your story. You give me hope that even through all the heartache I will still have another baby. Congratulations to you on your 3rd!! That is so awesome that even through your own struggles your coming out the end with your baby. I hope you find your answer soon to your issues.

I would request the specialist lovely. :hugs:
