I have a friend and she has been ttc for 3 years. Well she had 2 MC's about 2 years ago and then she has been diagnosed with endodemetriosis (sp?!) so she hasnt really been trying (she is a lovely girl BUT she can be a bit overly sensitive)

Anyway she turned around to me on Sunday and said with straight face and there was NO joking at all "You had better not have kids before me!"

I had no idea how to react i just stood there shocked, now on FB she just keeps updating he status about how upset she is and everyone is mean to her

That's a shame. She's probably just feeling pretty low at the moment, sounds like she's had a rough time of it.

Loads of people seem to get pregnant before you, especially when you're ttc. Shed just have to accept it if that happens like a friend should.

How often do you see her? I would be tempted to keep it to yourself for a while when you do get preggers, she doesn't need to know straight away.

Just support her as you can but dont let her worry you or bring you down with her, she's hurting at the mo so just try and be a listening ear

Good luck x

wow! I have no idea how I'd react in that situation! How old is she? The FB updates make me wonder about her maturity....

I agree with Monkey, when you get your BFP, share your joy with friends who are discrete, and gently let her know when you think she's ready to hear it.

Anyway, don't let her stress you out, you have your own goals, and every right to persue them!!!

Good luck!

i had a little situation like that, my sister in law has 3 kids and had 1st at 18, now all her friends are starting to have babies and her eldest is 9, so shes broody because she had them alot longer than her friends.

i said i wanted a large family and she said you best not have more than me.

even tho shes had hers, she wont be happy if i have more. some people are jelous of things they already have.

like others have said dont tell her straight away, and she will get over it, good luck x

Thanks girls!

Dont get me wrong she is a lovely girl but i get the impression she thinks no one should have kids before her.

It does concern me when i do actually get pregnant she is going to blank me, she has done that to a girl at her work when she was pregnant. Actually she has turned to her sister and me on a night out saying she thinks that "S" is rubbing it in her face. Once again me and her sis were shocked...thankfully i have a weak bladder when it comes to booze so i ran off to the loo
