I went in for contractions last Monday thinking labor had started. I had regular contractions but didn't do nothing to my cervix. Well they monitor me for a while and seen baby heart rate would drop sometimes when I had a contraction. So they told me I had to be induction and watch closely for his heart rate and if it serious will have to have c section.

Day 1:
Started pitocin for 2 hours and stopped it to see how he would react.
The gel. Had contractions regularly. 2 minutes apart but had no effect on my cervix. Was give a medication to help ease pain to sleep that night. Had them stop it as it gave me anxiety. Contractions during the morning and they stopped.
Day 2:
The tampon thing was inserted. Started contractions. Took it out at night. Gave me medication to get a little rest. Contraction stopped the next morning.
Day 3:
Inserted two gels. Contractions back to back and still no improvement to cervix. I was 1 cm dilated and cervix aost thinned. Stretched my cervix and still nothing.
That night came in and told me they was going to give me medication as my contraction were strong and they thought I needed a break and I would start to dilate on my own. Tried two different I've medication and nothing.
So next step was an epidural then given pitocin. My epidural wore off within an hour. Pain was horrible because I was on a high dose of pitocin. Doctor came back in to redo the epidural and it took a while to fully get it to work. Rested for a couple hours and midwife came in to check me with I was at a 2.
Around noon my water broke on its own. Epidural started to wear off. They checks I was the same. 30 minutes later a 5 and fully effaced. 30 minutes no change. 30 minutes later a 9. 30 minutes later fully dilated. Pushed for 45 minutes.
Malik Anthony Harris was born march 21, at 313 pm. Had to have a little cut and vacuum him out as I didn't have enough tissue wide enough to get him out. He weigh 6 lbs 20 inches long. Born at 37+4 weeks
