I have looked eveywhere and cannot find info about it. Does anyone know how to read the maternal serum test in second semester at 16 wks. My hcg seems low but maybe not I am not sure but what I have found on MoM hcg that seems really low.

Maybe the lab at the clinc does it weird?
Here is the results

Patient's uE3 .82 ng/mL
Patient's hCG 4514 IU/L
Patient's AFP 29 ng/mL
MoM for uE3 .96
MoM for hCG .11
MoM for AFP .91

it said My interpitation was normal but I know labs can make mistakes I would just like to know what the numbers mean. The MoM's did not have any metric unit behind it.

Thanks

Sorry didn't want to read and run - did the not give you a risk factor from your bloods?

MoM is I believe multiples of median. So yeah, that would seem really low. They gave you the results without telling you what they mean?

They post them. They put the odds up and said my risk factors are normal. But I like reading more into each test so I tried to find the normal levels and low and high levels. I got a call in they were actually suppose to call me but never did.
