Very sick during TWW

Hi ladies!
So yesterday, 5 dpo I was very ill. Fever, horrible stomach pains and nausea.
My hubby is thinking now we won't have a successful implantation even if we conceived because my body is more focused on fighting this illness.
Thoughts?

Since ur body is fighting the illness, it wont fight an egg from implanting as much. Feel better and good luck!

I agree with boobear. Also a lot of women end up coming down with some sort of unusual sickness when they conceive because when you're pregnant your immune system is suppressed making you more prone to illness. I had a sore throat for 2 weeks during early pregnancy with my daughter.
