Very sore nipple

I have lucked out and not had sore nipples much however yesterday my right one has gotten very sore. It feels slightly swollen. It's not cracked.

Is this a blocked duct? It almost feels like a blister.

What should I be watching for? I'm still nursing on that side.

Its been too long sence I breastfed to answer this correctly for you ---- sorry! BUT I bet if you go to the "long term breastfeeding" thread you will find a ladie with a "BF Champoion" badge in her signature like and you can PM her with your concern. Hope you get some good answers


As I remember they just hurt sometimes and as long as it wasn't cracked or hot then you are OK. But as I said, it has been so long....

I think it was a milk blister. Luckily my LO was able to suck it out, and it's much better know.
