Hello ladies,
I am new to this site and in need of advice. A bit of background, am 32 years old and was on mycrogynon for about 15 years. I came off last year and have not had a period since. Something happens each month i.e. I get the pains and a tiny amount of spotting but no period. I have had two pelvic ultrasounds and they have revealed that I have mild PCOS and my lining is less than 3mm!!! I am being referred to a specialist but hope someone here might be able to shed some light as am totally freaked about about my thin lining!

Please help and thank you xx
ps - I have recently changed my career and have gone through at least 6 months of very high stress.
pss- I am not up to speed with all the abreviations so please bear with me

I have a thin lining too (plus low follicle count, might all be connected). I read it's best to drink full fat milk to help so you could try that, and acupuncture is supposed to do wonders. And regular (but not intense) exercise and you should certainly try to keep your stress levels down - acupuncture can actually help with this and meditation.

Visualisation is recommended too. Start belieiving you will have a thicker womb lining and you will!

I was also told this at a scan when we first started TTC. I already knew I had PCOS having been diagnosed 8 years previously but when they scanned me at a new hospital I was told - actually rephrase that the young training doctor was told - I had a very thin endometrial lining which was out of the ordinary for PCOS. No explanation so I panicked too.

After moving hospitals the new consultant told me the thin lining was nothing to worry about as when they gave me either Provera or Norethisterone i would have a bleed. SO when the right hormones were there I could build up a lining. As you have not had a AF in a long time the specialist will probably give you something to make you have AF.

On my first month of Clomid I had an internal scan to check any follicles and my lining and I had a good thick lining within normal limits and was told the previous consultant should have explained it a little more to me as it is not too much of a big deal as long as it responds to medication it should respond to. xxx

thank you so much, you have no idea how much better you have made me feel. so horrible when you think you are going through these things on your own. fingers crossed the specialist will be able to kick start me! xxx
