Hi Ladies, I'm just curious to know that during the winter months if your lo will be wearing short sleeved or long sleeved vest underneath their sleep suits?

I know it may depend on how cold it is, but what are you ladies planing on doing as I'm unsure as to whether to get a couple of long sleeved ones in, in advance?

Last winter my LO wore both vests, during the day & at night. But we did have a very cold winter.

I will assess the weather nearer the time & if necessary, will get some long sleeved ones again.

My LO was born in November and never wore a long sleeve vest...she had a short sleeve vest, a sleep suit or pj's and a 2.5 tog sleep bag...the room was around 20-22 ish

I am in Scotland and Anna was born in January when it was really cold. We had her in a short sleeved vest under everything and will do so again this winter. Never used long sleeved vests :flower:

I just put her in a short sleeved vest as she wore clothes and a cardi, I think it depends on temperature inside your house, when going out wrap them warm with a coat, snowsuit, blankets :) xxx

Yeah get some long sleeved ones just incase It is very cold this winter again.I dont have many long sleeved ones for michael but gona get a few more.xxx

I don't really have many long sleeved vests so I'll most likely use short sleeved ones.
I used short sleeved vests from when my son was born (beginning of March when was still really cold up here) and everything was fine :flower: xx

Thanks Ladies. I think I'll get a few in for if I need them. If I don't use them it doesn't matter as they're so cheap to buy.

we will prob use long sleeved.
we rarely use central heating, makes my skin dry and sore and we all hate it! I also like windows open day and night regardless. Healthy clean air!

I've got some long sleeved ones mainly because we have bought lots of 0-3 clothes for lo that he is too small for, and as we bought them in the summer they have short sleeves, so thought I could layer long sleeved vests under them so he gets to wear them.

I found long sleeved vests handy for if it was too cold to wear a shortsleeve one yet to hot to wear a sleepsuit aswell.
Our flat is around 27 even in winter with no heating on so he still doesnt wear much inside, its just a nightmare during summer when indoors is about 34-35

Tom wore short sleeve vests under his sleepsuits last winter (december baby) but it was exceptionally cold. I've got some long sleeve ones ready for this winter as he does tend to be a cold baby - he's worn a vest under his t-shirts all summer and never been too hot.
