OH vetoed Esther (granny's name), and I vetoed Penelope (collegue's kid's name).

I think we are down to Amelia, Julianna, Cecilia, Stella and Helena. We'll have to see what the baby looks like most.

I love Rowan too! It was on my list till 2 little girls I know were named that in the last year.

I vetoed Ewan, because of OH's last name. It is ridiculous.. think "Neil McNeil" etc..

I vetoed "Steven Fernando" for a boy. I think he was only messing (2 Liverpool Strikers' names), but I wasn't taking that chance!

I've agreed to Saxon but have totally vettooed having it with a middle name Jackson!

I vetoed Kelly, with our accent it just sounds hellish.

We'll probably not go with anything with a strong T in the middle because in our area hardly anyone would pronounce it properly and that would drive me insane... My friend called her baby Katie, and is having the same issue.

I like Natalie, but they'd get called Nah'lehy!


Same with any y or ie ending names, they just abuse letters here.


On the other note, my mum vetoed Happy, apparently with was my dad's favourite option for my name! It was the 70's, maybe he was stoned...

If Roman had of been a girl he would have been called Trinity. That was the name me and hubby had chosen. I love it.

Hubby Vetoed Luna and Lola he also TRIED to veto Starla but managed to get that one on my list

so i vetoed Thomas because he liked that
