Vitamins to increase sperm count!!!

Please i need some advise on what vitamins to give my husband as we'v just found out he has a slightly low sperm count of 37.7 million total motile sperm.

I have read of a few differnt brands like wellman and maca but have no idea what to get. I want 2 get the best no matter what the price.

First all all in dont know who has told you that this is a low result... its not! 20 million sperm is considered NORMAL and anything over that is a bonus!

Our clinic told us that no supplements would increase sperm, 2 months later with Zinc, folic acid, vitamin C, Selenium, cutting down caffeine, fags & alcohol (albeit not fully by a long shot! ) OH's sperm increased from 1 million to 39 million so yes, it does work!

yeah we were told 20 million too was average.....my dh had 17 million so we started him on fertile aid for men....only 1 mth later it increased he then started taking wellmans conception as were cheaper than fertile aid & it must of worked as now 11 weeks preg! good luck hope it improves...also cutting out alcohol & fags is a must!! x

Thanks so much girls for your advise.............ok mayb i should of explained my results a little better, see below:- also i have in brackets and in red, the normal recommendations from World Health Organization.

Volume - 6.5ml (2ml)
Sperm Count/ml - 15 million/ml (20 million/ml)
Motility - 39% (50%)
Total Motile Sperm per sample - 37.7 million (40 million)

When our FS told us that DH's total motile count was 37.7 million the 1st thing i said was "but thats not low as long as its over 20 million"!!! then he replied no that is the sperm count or concentration and the total count should be 40 million or above.

so we are slightly below the total of 40 million also our sperm count is only 15 million which should be 20 million or above. (which is prob the figure your thinking of sammy and katy) it actually is all very confusing!!!

Also mayb i use add how they calculate the total motile sperm count.

They multiply the

volume X sperm/ml X motility = Total Motile Sperm

I have read several success storys of men taking fertilaid for men. it did not work for us though. 1000mg vitamin c and 200mg vitamin e helped some though.
