Hi there...

I've been seeing a holistic doctor who has me on a few different supplements, but I'm wondering if I should add a few vitamins of my own or perhaps a whole food multivitamin. Specifically, I'm looking at supplementing Iron. I feel that I lack it quite a bit and had a miscarriage in December 2012- I've read that low iron can cause miscarriage as well as inhibit fertility and regular cycles. I suffer from a very irregular period.

I know my doctor is trying to help and supplements and vitamins do take time (I've only been seeing him for about 4 months after Clomid did nothing except make me crazy), but I'm growing impatient and wondering if there are a few things I should add to my daily vitamin intake. Currently, he has me on Cruciferious Complete to reduce any and all extra and unnecessary estrogen in my body; Ovex for ovary help; Symplex F for an overall hormal help, I guess (it helps the anxiety too...); Cytozyme for my pituitary.

We've been trying for nearly 3 years now and it's so disheartening...

A whole food prenatal like Raw Prenatal is great. Definitely take a fish oil supplement for omega 3.

I wouldn't take a separate iron supplement unless your level is low. Ask your dr to test your iron level if you are concerned. Google "too much iron supplement" or "iron overload" and you will see why.

What else you take will depend on your specific situation and fertility issues.
