Vitex (Agnus Castus)

Hello Ladies,

I'm after some advice to shorten my cycles, I currently have 35-38 days cycles but I'm off on hols in April & it's looking like I'll be due on while I'm there which I really don't want & we will be ttc when we return or there if the window is right 😉.

My question is about Vitex (Agnus Castus) I've never used it before but have seen a post about it. I also suffer with PCOS.

I started taking agnus cactus last month cycle as my cycles have been 40 days, my first cycle of taking 1 agnus cactus every mourning up to cd 15 came on cd 36 so could of been early cycle or could of been agnus cactus helping

This cycle I'm taking 2 every morning till cd 15 and see if there a better improvement fingers crossed

I have read agnus cactus has helped a lot of women and it can take 3 months to work. Good luck

Hi there! I have started taking vitex about 5 weeks ago,some say not to take it durning your mes trial cycle but other say to take it anyway, so I just took it, really wanted it in my system, my periods are usually extremely painful, but this time it was mild, the only side effect I've had is breakouts. I do not have pcos however I do have some fertility issues, I've had two losses, and very unusual ones in 2013 so we waited a full year to TTC again and this time have been as healthy as I can be in every way! Have yet to see if vitex helped I'm also waiting to ovulate. Good luck to you .
