Hey

DD2 has come down with a vomiting bug thats doing its rounds.
Only started at lunch time but she vomited all her lunch up at 12.30. Just gave her some water and 4oz formula (its now 5.30pm). And she brought it all back. Shes also had a few loose nappies.

What if anything do I give her to eat!!? .

Thanks

When that happens cut all dairy is what my pedi always tell us. Offer water, rice, bananas and apple sauce and toast. However don't push food right now, I'd focus more on liquids and hydration for at least 24 hrs.

Thanks for your advice . We will see how today goes !

My 2 Los had it last week aged 2 and 17 weeks , neither could keep anything down for about 8-12 hours . Ended up in a&e with 17 week old . Was advised to offer feeds still, if vomited up about 15-20 mins later give 25 mls of dioralite from a syringe every 30 mins . Even if it still I'm,editable comes back up as it helps to keep blood sugars normal and prevents dehydration . All better here now . Was told with my 2 year old offer drinks sips every 10-15 mins juice or something other than water for sugar content . Also to not withhold food to feed to appitite .

Hope it passes soon for you

Oh no that's just awful. Glad everyone is better now!

She vomited absolutely everything we gave her yesterday.

In the end we gave her just cooled boiled water and dioralyte. She woke up this morning absolutely starving. Gave her 1/2 Rusk and 2oz formula. Shes asleep now and so far its stayed down.
x
