Our 10 week old has had mild reflux issues since early on, and we've managed them with frequent burping, feeding him Enfamil AR and giving him gas drops/gripe water as needed.
Yesterday, he spit up quite a bit while taking his mid-morning nap. A couple hours later, he vomited the rest of his bottle (or it seemed that way - it was A LOT). I wouldn't call it projectile; it was forceful, but just covered him, didn't shoot across the room or anything.
At his next feeding after that incident, he finished all but maybe an ounce or so. No spit up issues. His last nighttime feeding took almost an hour to finish, but still no spit up issues. He woke up at 4:30a today, and only finished 2oz. When my husband tried to feed him at 8a, he had another forceful vomit.
He finished almost 2oz., and is now refusing to eat...he's asleep. He has an appointment with his pediatrician on Tuesday for his vaccinations anyway; since his diapers are still wet (no change in bathroom habits at all) should I wait and address it with his ped then?
My concern is his refusal to eat. He's happy and smiling, no fussing, no crying, so I don't believe he's sick. We've had one or two forceful vomit situations in the past, and it seems smaller feeds until he felt better that day did the trick.
