vomiting/throat pain

I had a flu shot taken on Monday according to my Gyn's direction. However, I am not feeling well after that. I have a severe sore throat and its too hard to swallow food, especially fluids. My throat feels very dry and I have vomited twice. Its not the first trimester kind of nausea&vomiting. There's no nausea. I feel like vomiting from the extreme dryness of the throat. No fever so far. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear that you feel so awful.

Here in the UK pregnant women aren't offered the flu vaccine...probably because there could be side effects like the ones you're describing.

It's a bit of a concern if you feel that you can't take fluids, if i was you i would be in touch with my doctor asap...you have to be able to drink!!
