vtech baby toys volume SO low!

I wish I had that problem with ALL of the toys. They are all so stinking loud that you have to use ear plugs to keep from them blowing out your eardrums, lol!

SORTED - on the toys that had the problem I managed to shove a piece of old library card down the slot that had the tab that you were supposed to remove upon opening the toy. Now the toys are useful again and not too loud. Thank you Internet.

The thing with the phone is cos it's designed to be held to the ear they have to have a max allowed volume so as not to damage babies ears, as pp said we overcame this by sticking a piece of cardboard in the tab slot all the other toys I find rediculous too loud especially the baby walked! Low volume is not low enough!

OMG that darn phone! My LO loves my phone, so I got her the pretend one (although she's not easily fooled) and you can barely hear it!

I have a vtech baby walker which has two volume levels. Even on the lowest it is loud. And very annoying!!

Ah yes, I forgot about that one, we have the same. HELLO PUPPY CALLING DO YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH ME, LET'S HAVE FUN TOGETHER WHILE YOU LEARN YOUR A-B-C'S I will be hearing that from the grave.

Which is why I'm wondering if it's just something with the vtech toys from the States, you know, litigious and all, maybe there was a lawsuit and they have to be quiet.

We have that walker, it's so annoying! I'm surprised I don't sing the tune in my sleep. Ours is very loud to, even on the lowest volume setting.

We also have a baby phone that's made by vtech & it's really quiet? It doesn't have any volume settings, you can hardly hear what it's saying!
