Tried to sum it up in the title really!

I've been getting some great advice from ladies on here, but I'm wondering if anyone is in my exact position or has been?

Had an MC on 19th Oct, began trying again after some deliberation and now, 5 weeks later (4 weeks after bleeding stopped), no AF but no BFP. Have been tracking with BBT and according to FF I'm 9dpo, so obviously still early for BFP but not unrealistic to get one. However I've ONLY used IC's... and I've heard (after buying) that they aren't that good even if they are meant to be super sensitive.

I guess my question is has anyone gotten their BFP immediately after MC without AF or how long did you have to wait for AF?

I feel like I'm just plodding along through complete uncertainty.

I had 2 MCs in quick succession (second was a chemical) and immediately after the chemical I conceived my son who is now almost 5 :) I didn’t have a period that whole time xx

Thanks for your reply!

Hoping ill get my bfp (however im 11 dpo today and pretty sure im not gonna get it as up to now is bfn)

Either that or just want AF to show so i can get on with next cycle!

I have always had af but I have heard plenty become pregnant without having a proper af between.
ICs can be rubbish so it's worth using a different test instead, although I would stay away from blue dyes until af is about due because they can be confusing with evaps or shadow lines.
To add, the only time I have become pregnant without a proper af between has been with chemicals, but I have issues it would seem as I have had a number of them and quite a few in a row. Lots of women go on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby after a mc without af though

Thats ok :) I'm feeling surprisingly ok about it. I know where I am now. We're going to leave it til the new year to ttc again.. give ourselves some time

I know what you mean, being in limbo is horrible and sometimes although pregnancy would obviously be wonderful, getting af is a relief because as you say, you know where you are. Best of luck when you do start trying :hugs:
