I hope I spelled that right! Just wanted to check in...just looking for someone to listen to me
I'm 34, TTC for about 14 months now. Had Madison, age 6, via c-section. Seeing fertility specialist and after a hysteroscopy w/laparoscopy 2 weeks ago, I'm now waiting to see if my insurance will pay for an HSG w/Cannulization. Initial instinct is no, but you never know. Anybody know approx how much these things cost? I was quoted between $1000-$1500.
Anyway, the doc said my endometrial lining was thick and it didn't look "normal" although the biopsy came back benign. She said there was lots of scar tissue, presumably from a post c-section infection, although I don't remember having symptoms of an infection. After she messed around in my uterus and removed problem areas, she tried to insert dye into my tubes. Absolutely did not take. She maneuvered tools through there and she didn't see anything that would be considered a blockage, apparently. But, it would make sense as the miscarriage I had in December was ectopic. She wants to do these tests to verify that there is a blockage...but I'm hoping she took care of it!!! Does anybody have any experience in this area and had a successful pregnancy???
Thanks ladies!
