waiting game.....UPDATE

just had my bloods taken to see if my hcg levels are rising appropriately, just got to wait for the phonecall now, the wait is already killing me and they've said it could be as late as 6pm before I find out! xxx

I caved and couldn't wait so got a friend at the hospital to check my result - my hcg is 17,774, which has more than doubled in 60 hours! now just got to wait for the epads to contact me and arrange another scan in 2 weeks! I'm so happy that it's a good sign xxx

Those are fantastic numbers hunni, I'm so pleased, I know exactly how you are feeling the wait til my scan in 2 weeks to find out if this lo is ok is killing me, my numbers were good too but until I see that heartbeat on the screen I can't let myself be happy xxxxx

thank you! I'm just waiting for the hospital to ring me with a plan now, its my birthday next Thursday and I'm on a night shift so I'm going to push for a scan on Friday morning when I will be 7 weeks by lmp but 6+5 by my date lol then I can enjoy my birthday weekend without worrying! x

Awww! What a brilliant bday surprise. It's my bday next week as well!!! Sure everything will be fine. a few weeks ago my hormones had quadrupled in under 36 hours. I remember waiting for the phone call, but after that immediately started panicking that they had risen too much! Been for scan though and all good! Hope you have a lovely birthday xxx
