Waiting time for semen analysis

We are going down the infertility investigation route, and have been old that hb needs a semen analysis. However the average waiting time where we live is 12 weeks!!!
Is it just me or does that seem riduclously long! How long have our other halfs had to wait?
I think we may be going down the private route.

As you referred to going the private route, I'm assuming we don't live in the same country. For me, in the US, my husband had two SA's....the first time we got the results I think within a couple of days, and the second one I think we got the same day.

Wow thats terrible. My Hubby got his with in two weeks and the results four days later.
