Waiting to try after a mmc- advice pls girls!

A week today i miscarried our 7.5 week old baby, i had actually got to 13 weeks as it was a missed miscarriage.
My partner and I planned the first pregnancy and we are obviously devestated that it has ended this way.
Just got a couple of questions i hope someone can help me with-
1. what will my period be like when it starts again?
2. How long is best to wait before trying again?
3. Anything else i should know about trying after a mc?

I had a MMC before I had my LO!
When my period came it was just the same as always, and I think it showed up about 4 weeks after the mc happened! We waited until my period came and then we started to try again! There is no reason to wait before you try again, many MW will tell you to wait for you first period, but this is just because it makes dating it easier.
Just try again when both you and your Oh feel ready
