Walked out before my glucose test

(only read first post)

I didn't test the first time and was really good about exercising every day. This time around, I did test and tested borderline on the firs test and didn't take the second test. Most people who have it can control it with diet and exercise. Unfortunately, I'm not exercising as regularly this time and my diet isn't quite as good, but eating well and exercising are things you should be doing regardless of GD. So, if you decide against the test, I would just advise you to do your best to exercise regularly and pair proteins with your carbs, and keep desserts to a minimum. Eat whole foods. That kind of thing. It's rare that it requires more than diet and exercise to control GD. The other thing is to keep an eye on weight gain and fetal growth. It might be too late by the time you discover GD has affected your baby, but if you're careful to begin with, changes are minimized.
