walking on tip toes

my 17 month old is doing this regularly. i didnt even notice until my oh pointed it out. hes only been walking for about 2 months now but he does so well.

im just wondering if this is a natural development or is it something to be worried about ie; could his tendons be short???

sometimes its just a few steps and other times hell walk all over the living room on tip toes.

zane used to do this alot and his feet are fine i still walk on my tip toes when going up the stairs for some reason, i guess old habbits die hard hahaha
