Wanting to start TTC but scared...

My ds has just turned 2 years old and my partner (who is my sons step dad but has been there since he was born) wants us to start trying for another baby.

Whereas I would LOVE to have another baby, I am really scared of the age gap. Is it too soon? Is there a good age to have baby number 2?

I have an implant in my arm, not due to come out for another 1 year, but any advice is always appreciated xx

i think a 2/3 year age gap is perfect! its what me and my OH are planning to have between our children

Most people agree that a 2-3 year age gap is about as perfect as it gets. It really all depends on the couple though. Some people want large age gaps between their children and some want even smaller age gaps. You should do what you feel is best for you and your family. If you're both ready and would really love to have another baby, then your DS certainly isn't too young to start trying. My DF and I are in the majority group preferring a 2-3 year age gap.
