I just ordered a pair of linen trousers from jojo maman bebe and they are absolutely HUGE!! (I ordered my usual size 8). I know that all companies are making allowances for expanding bellies (and bums), but never had problems with Next or Dorothy Perkins maternity.
I won't be buying from them again!!

I bought a tunic top from jojo that says small but it is MASSIVE!! Looks like a tent/sack! Will keep it just incase I need a tent/sack type top later on!!! I have also had problem with M&P jeans tho... got some maternity S8 jeans online and they were tiny! So then got the S10 and they were huge and really big. Can't win and I really miss wearing jeans...

I tried on dorothy perkins jeans today and they were massive not just the waist but all over even a size smaller was too big for me, i hate maternity wear i cant find anything

It's crazy! I am just having to live in maternity leggings (which thankfully do fit) and tunic tops! I am hoping I will grow into my maternity jeans!

I got size 10 mat jeans from next and they were falling down after 1 hour. I hate them. And i'm certainly not a size 10 - i've put a fair bit of weight on and am at least a 12 beside any so called bump. Biggest waste of money ever.

I've had the same problem with Jo Jo maman bebe - don't order the jeans!!

Peacocks do a good maternity range and he clothes seem to fit well :)

i found all mat clothes are just huge! ive got dotty p and new look stuff i got a size 20 normal size in dotty p's and there huge think i would have been fine in a 16 even for a few months ifykwim... at least the jeans will do at the 9 month stage... i got a size 18 in new look and there big too also george are big too! got linen trousers what are tight anyways and there just huge at least ill be good over the summer!

Hadn't even thought of peacocks!! Will go find one on Saturday! Husband will love that - more hunting for maternity jeans!!! Hahaha

Not just M&P then with huge maternity jeans!! I know and they are expensive as well.

Me too! Don't get me wrong, I am sure I will grow more and maybe at the end of the pregnancy the trousers would fit me, but the trouser legs were huge.
So far next hasn't failed me. It's a shame that the choice isn't that great though. I am looking for a nice summer skirt that isn't denim. Anyone? :flower:

I wish M&S had a decent range of maternity wear, they are my fail-safe normally and I can't believe I've had to expand my horizons out of that one shop! I found my JoJoMaman dress was pretty big but it's very comfy as a result. I bought some maternity linen trousers from ASOS and they were rubbish, I couldn't even get them over my thighs! Mothercare maternity wear was pretty big as well but fits fine now I'm a tad bigger.

Littlewoods also have a few maternity bits and pieces, although the linen trousers and cargos I ordered are massive, so I'm again hoping I grow into them further on...
Can't vouch for the tops.

Funny enough I found New Look jeans big (but comfortably big) and the tops generally on the small size.
I've also had a pair of smart grey trousers from Mothercare which are massive, and I've got to wear a belt to keep them up! (not great!)
Not sure why I seem to think it's a good idea to keep them when I try them on...

I'm on the hunt for some cropped trousers for the summer, any ideas where I can get them from? Either linen or casual type...

Same! I bought a pair of maternity jeans and they literally hang off me and are huge in the leg, the top however only covers half of my bump even though it's bigger than the size I usually buy!!!

H&m have over bump cropped maternity jeans although the sizes are tiny I'm normally a size 14-16 ( size 16 maternity jeans are falling down) but have had to buy them in a size 20 and they still feel tight over the legs!

Really?! I find H&M rather generous, I am a 14 usually and am in size 12 H&M maternity and it's roomy

My other h&m maternity stuff is either a 14 or 16 so I was surprised too, especially as my total weight gain so far is 3lbs (I'm 16weeks) and my pre pregnancy size was a 14-16!

I find Next maternity jeans huge fit, i find the New Look jeans a good fit but the tops arent great very short and small fit.

Dorothy Perkins jeans are a nice fit, i got a pair of the bargain £3 skinny ones last week.
