Was this my first post mmc period?

Hi ladies, just some opinions if possible... Had mmc and d&c on 25/6/10 spotted for 13 days. Had hcg levels of 23 on 20/7/10 and positive test still then got what I think is first period on 27th July - 18 days after the spotting stopped. It was moderate to heavy for 3 days then completely stopped today. Do you think I should count this as first period? Thanks xx
