Wasted Cycle?

So this was my first round of Clomid, and I feel like it was a wasted cycle. I got my +opk today and we havnt DTD at all in over 3 weeks....

I know I still have 24-48 hours and my cramps havnt hit yet so maybe 72 hours as the Clomid my have affected it, but it really feels like the last 4 days could have been spent DTD and upping our chances, but something keeps coming up every time there is an opportunity.

What to do? Too many more cycles and I think we are giving up for a while, but I don't want to be taking all these meds if I'm not fully going to jump at the opportunities to use it, but it "takes two to tango".........

Ugh, that is so frustrating! I am so sorry you weren't able to get in adequate BD time. How did things end up for you? Did you and your partner find the time to squeeze a couple of BD sessions in?

It sounded to me like you are feeling your husband is not prioritizing this process. If this cycle doesn't result in a BFP than sounds like a good sit down with your DH is in order. Clomid is not recommended to be prescribed long term and may have some nasty side effects on your body so you and your DH need to make the most out of each opportunity. It may be good to schedule BD time, its not romantic but everyone is busy and its just what has to happen sometimes. Good luck and please let us know how things turned out!

Thanks ducks (btw we just adopted 4 ducks of our own lol) We did get a chance to dtd about an hour after I made that first post and ov ended up about 8 hours later, so my FF says were still good, and I have a few symptoms so fx'd.

It has been hard because both of us are retired and home all day, so I refuse to have to "schedule" times to dtd. But he has become so discouraged by the whole thing that he feels like any time we dtd without ov signs that it's wasted somehow.
