Waters leaking 35 weeks? !!UPDATED!!

Glad to hear it wasn't waters! It was definitely worth getting checked out though. Hope baby stays put just a little longer!

Well......

Had scan, first thing she said, baby is breech!! Oh and your not having a small baby, she is measuring 40 weeks already, also she has hair that resembles an Afro haha!

I'm back on Tuesday to see consultant to attempt turning but they said with the size of baby it's highly unlikely so they will schedule a caesarean :-/

Really scared xx

Oh my! It's a good job you've gone in to get seen even if it was originally for something else! It'll all be fine! Good luck! :)

Yeh more than likely in next 2 weeks if I don't go before on my own.

Oh good luck my baby is measuring big so just going to stalk this thread xx

The estimates they make during scans are notoriously inaccurate, baby may not be as big as they say.

If you are interested there are things you can do to encourage baby to flip head down, though I don't know how effective they are at 35 weeks. Worth a look though!

Spinning babies is great and would def try the small stuff to turn now. Glad to hear it wasnt waters though :)

Wow, good job you went in!.... I suppose atleast you know what to expect now and maybe try ways to turn baby. Better than getting in to fullblown labour and then needing an emergency C. I've heard planned Cs are much calmer and neater with better recovery :).... I do hope you manage to turn her though x

I'm very nervous and scared... I think the estimate of weight is pretty accurate as people have constantly commented on how big my bump is since around 30 weeks. At least with her prob coming early she is already a good size.

Midwife scared me tho when she said if my waters go and a foot pops out I'm to put chest on the floor bum in the air and call ambulance immediately :-/
