Hi lttc'ers!!

So here is a little about my story! My dh and I have been ttc for 15 months and have not even had any kind of bfp :( we have had all kinds of tests done and they have all came back clear and neither of us have any kind of issue. We are currently on cd 26/ 12dpo of our second round of clomid with another bfn today and feeling like we are out once again :(

By now you would think it would be easier to deal with not being pregnant every month but it is just getting harder and harder. I am sick of being an emotional wreck every month and would love to hear your tips and hints of getting through this horrible time..... Thanks :flower:

I know the feeling! We've been TTC for about 17 months and it has been really getting me to especially this year! A week ago, I got AF after second round of Clomid and I thought that was THE month. We went finally for our honeymoon shortly before O, BD'd quite a bit, I just tried to do everything right, more so than other months, trying not to stress... Now I am on my 3rd round, last under my OB and already scheduled my appt at the fertility clinic in about 3 weeks. What I had to tell myself, before I got AF, is being able to do things I can't do when pregnant and also during TWW, such as running, ice skating, drinking wine etc. Some consolation price. It sort of works, but hey. Now, I am excited about taking a step forward and hopefully get some help. Are you seeing an RE?

Ladies, this is normal. :hugs:
Honest to god you will get really stressed and worked up about it for a few months, but the feeling fades eventually. It helps if you try and distract yourself with something else like redecorating or (in my case) a house move or even just a hobby. :hugs:
Either way try and distract yourselves from it. :nope:
Remember there is only so long you can be worked up about something happening before you get to the point where you just don't care anymore. :winkwink:

Also avoid certain situations, I have just come back from a holiday with friends. The two other women who went along both have young children, one of whom came with us. The sole topic of conversation while we were away?
Me and OH trying to conceive and their two kids. :baby:
Don't get me wrong they were well meaning with their advice etc but I just really felt that the pressure was on. Eventually I got fed up and changed the subject with them, however they still brought it up slightly through the holiday. :nope:
All because my hubby told them I had miscarried last year. :dohh:
The good thing is I'm in my 20's so time is on my side. :happydance:

yeah i used to obsess way more, now like you said, just trying to distract myself but can't never get away totally, obviously, with Clomid, opks, BBT, bw etc. However, i don't see how I can ever get to the point of not caring? I'm almost 35. Time is of the essence for me...

Thanks for your reply ladies! No I don't see an re, I see a obgyn. Maybe that will be my next step.
I have done the whole avoiding the situation it kind of works, besides with my closest friend who has two young children (the lastest one broke my heart cause she wasn't trying :( ) every time we get together she is constantly talking how wonderful it is to be a mother :( I'm sure she is not being spiteful but it does hurt a lot cause that is all she seems to talk about!
I think next month I am going to get rid of all opk, hpt, bbt and just try not to think about it.... I feel like I am drowning in it all and I just need to regroup.

Keep the stuff there, but just try and ween yourself off the habit of reaching for them everyday :haha:

Don't worry hun, we've all been through that time :hugs:
