Ways to have a small PT income when baby has arrived? Party Plan?....

any other ideas???

Ebay? (Done that)

I was going to suggest ebay, how well did you do?

Remember ebay doesn't have to be selling, Can buy cheap items in bulk and sell at car boot sales etc. Another way of looking at it perhaps?

Other options could include:

Avon
Bodyshop
etc.

Any potential contracting skills?
I've always done writing contracts in addition to my regular job, so I will continue with that if I don't go back to work.
Don't forget that there are also tax benefits from working from home (at least there are in Canada, I'm assuming it's the same for you?).
What about taking in other children to mind while you're at home?
Lots of work, but could be the income you need?

put notice up in local shop as a cleaner (can take baby with you)

also advertising ironing services often works out quite well...

Have a look at elance.com. There are jobs on there to suit most people. I do free lance work as a technical author which pays quite well and supplements my income at the moment. My boss made it his lively hood for 13 years when his kids were young and took a pay cut to go back to being employed by a company rather than self employed! He just wanted the extra security. Good luck whatever you do though!
