lol! It's okay! Maddison is okay to me, it was the 2nd option because my husband likes it. When I had mention Noelle on one of these forums no one liked it! So I decided to try one more time!

Noelle is lovely for a December baby! Maddison (and variations on that name) seem to be really popular where I live, and I prefer less common names.

Another vote for Noelle. The word "mad" in Maddison puts me right off. Makes me think of "son of a madman". Noelle is pretty!

I prefer Noelle too, I think it sounds much softer and feminine in comparison to Maddison which I think has a harsh sound, especially with the double M with Marie.

My choice would definitely be Maddison, lovely name!

I'm not a fan of Noelle personally, reminds me too much of the Noel Carol (which I love) but never thought of as a name. Love Maddison though, its on my list
