we are on a break :-(

me & oh have been together for 6 years and we have Leo 10 months who is a angel but we just dont get on and argue at the stupidest of things, we still love each other lots but living together is just not going to work as we are chalk n cheese.
So have decided to have a break, its been a week so far and i like being on my own, feel like i can breath, me & Leo have a nice routine & i dont have to answer to any one & know where i stand.
But im scared to make it final and not be with him doing family stuff like 1st holidays together, days out, Leos 1 st birthday ect also him finding someone else.
Anyone else in this situation?

Is Leo more settled? Being on your own is hard work but is fighting and tension any easier? Do you want to raise your little man with him believing that is a healthy relationship? Maybe some time apart will help you both? Maybe even look at relationship counselling. Relationships are hard work and I sure as hell would never suggest walking away from a good one but make sure if you are staying it is for the right reasons! I fought like mad to save my marriage but sadly it was not to be (I was apparently the only one willing to fight for it) but we were also not fighting etc.
Do what is right for you and Leo. Maybe even try to go back to dating again (living apart and having quality time together 2 - 3 times a week) this might help you remember why you were together in the first place. Goodluck hon x

Thankyou, its just scary not having the security of someone there, Leo is settled & we were arguing in front of him which as he gets older its not fair because he will start to notice.
Dating each other would be nice because i think although we are the same people we have changed alot from having a baby so getting to know each other again would be nice.
Its the whole not knowing whats going to happen xx
