We are slowly getting there!

After starting potty training on friday, and telling you all how frustrating it was, heres my update.

The weekend has been tough. Ive felt like giving up many times, its been so frustrating, and yesterday i even cried my eyes out to my hubby, saying i couldnt do it anymore.

But weve carried on, and we have slowly started to see improvements.

Weve kept him bottom half naked when at home all weekend, and he now knows when he needs a wee - though usually 1 second before it starts coming. But he will try and get to his potty, and weve had about 10 or so wee's on the potty over the weekend., and a few accidents, though more potty triumphs!

He knows now that he can only have a nappy for bed.

He's at nursery later, so im gona ring them and see what they want me to do, cos like i say, hes usually half naked!

Im so proud!

Edit: Just to add that hes just done his first poo on the potty!! BUT as i emptied it, he did some more on my floor Im still pleased tho!!

Thanks girls. Just rang nursery, she musta though i was a over the top worried mother!! She said to send him in what i want, and plenty of spares.
I dont think he'll do well with his clothes on tho!

Thanks girls. He went to nursery in pants, and had a small dribble accident, so they took him to the toilet and he used a proper toilet for the first time!! Im so proud of him!! We're getting there!!!

Today has been our best day! 8 Wee's on the potty, one on the toilet, and a poo in potty too!! Hope everyday is an improvement on the last. We just need to work on timing, for him to let me know more than 1 second b4!
