My little man had a full feed straight from the boob today :D there was a nippleshield involved but I dont care!

He fed for 13.5minutes on one side, had a break and is now happily on the other side and has been there for 7 minutes so far :D

I can not describe how happy I am!

He has had no bottles this morning so far!

I bought new shields with a much better shape and he seems to get a much better latch with them. My breastfeeding support woman was around too so was very impressed :D

heres hoping this is the start of reducing the bottlefeeds!

Possibly the best feeling in the world!

He went straight down for a nap afterwards and just woke up now and has latched AGAIN for another feed! Been on 10 minutes so far :D

how cool! i am due in 6 weeks and praying i can breastfeed! yay for you and your LO!

Congratulations lady! Job well done, both you and your LO!

So this is almost a full day just on breastfeeds and expressed breast milk! He has had 3 feeds out a bottle whilst we were out but I also tried to breastfeed when we were out and managed a 5 minute feed in the baby softplay area but he didnt like being cradled :( it was still a sucessfull latch though :)

just had a 15 minute bedtime feed too :D yey Ethan!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I saw your name and the title of this thread and yelled "HE DID IT!!!" LOL

Yay! Congratulations, mama! You've worked really hard for this, enjoy your bf cuddles!

Thanks everyone for the support :D

So happy after yesterday knowing we are well on the road to breastfeeding :D

He woke up twice durinthe night, the first time I got to him a little late and he was getting flustered and wouldnt open his mouth enough so ended up with a bottle of formula as it was quicker than warming up the breastmilk :( but the second time he woke I got him latched after giving him a small bottle feed first and he fed for around 15 minutes.

I actually think my milk was coming to fast for him as at one point he had a bit of a choke and came off to cough and it was dripping everywhere! I do have quite a lot in the mornings and can now express a good 8-10oz ...
