Weaned my 2 year old

So my little boy is almost 25 months and has now been boobie free for 2 weeks. I started to wean him the day after he turned 2, purely for the fact he was only using it as comfort in the night. He'd weaned himself in the day. Quite sad it's over but proud of myself for sticking with it.
We experienced 4 weeks of agony at the start due to poor latch, blocked ducts, mastitis, week long feeding strike and endless sleepless nights.
Since being weaned he's now sleeping through, eating better and overall is a lot happier.

yay! Awesome for you two to nurse so long! My LO is 20 months and we're still nursing 3x a day. I'm guessing we'll stop around 2 as well...
