I'm starting to think about weaning Bella off the breast. It's a hard decision but i want to go back to work but the hours i need to be able to continue breastfeeding and working are difficult to come by!

Thing is, i've tried Bella on formula, but she keeps spitting it back out? I've been trying it on her for a couple of weeks every now and again but she tastes it and gives me a look of disgust! :-(

What do i do?? How do i get her to like formula? And if she doesn't does it mean i have to carry on breastfeeding until a year? (I'm hoping she takes to cows milk easier)

Any suggestions/advice? :flower:

Hmm...perhaps you could pump and mix the EBM and formula together? and maybe gradually increase the amount of formula and decrease the EBM?

It's a good idea, but my pump is kinda broken and doesn't work half of the time i try to use it, and when i am able to get it working i can only pump out about 1oz in about 30 minutes and it's not really worth it lol, but it is a good idea though! Lol, thanks :-)

Have you tried a variety of brands? A lot of people say Aptamil is the closest in likeness to BM.

I've now heard that hipp organic is meant to be the closest to BM in terms of taste and also the poop it creates
