Hi everyone,

I thought I should post a wee introduction...

I'm 31 and live about half an hour away from Glasgow. I've been with my hubby since I was 16, but we got married 3 years ago.

We had agreed years ago to start TTC before I hit 30, so we started just after, in November 2007. Unfortunately we're now 20 months on and no joy, but on the positive side I'm really hoping it was just down to my ignorance.

I deliberately didn't do any research because I didn't want to get hung up on the timing but 2 weeks ago I bought Take Control of your Fertility and discovered just how much I didn't know!

Fingers crossed we can get it right now :)

Just wanted to say hi and wish you lots of luck!

good luck honey. I've been on a steep learning curve since we began last year. I was diganosed with PCOS a few years back so always knew we might have a problem. I started temping in January and then the problems with my PCOS began to rear their head again. Before I was on BCP to cover my problems for 11 years.

It's definitely a journey and I hope it's a short one for you. We're all here to support you and have a wealth of knowledge on lots of subjects.

Have you been to the dr? If you've been trying over 12 months like you have am sure they can refer you for testing
xx

Thanks for the support :)

I have been to my GP, but not for a wee while.

I went initially in Nov 07 when we agreed to start trying, really I wanted to check any issues with my medication as I have Crohn's Disease, but she wasn't concerned with 2 of mytablets and said I could either stop the 3rd tablet and take over the counted folic acid or continue it and take prescribed strong doses, I went with stopping that medication.

I then went back for something else aboout 8 months later and she suggested if it hadn't worked by 1 year I should make an appointment for then. So I went back after 1 year and she recommened keeping track of my cycle for 4 cycles to track how regular my period was (I couldn't say exactly at that point).

So I tracked for 4 months and discovered I was 32 days most cycles and 38 once, but at the end of January my husband had a relaps in his Multiple Sclerosis that left him with (amongst other things) numbness in his whole left side and no use of his left hand, so I was back and forth to the GP with him, but haven't been back to my own! I've been so busy at work and helping Mo that I've not been too focused again until a couple of weeks ago when he satred to get some use of his left hand again and freed up a bit more of my time!

So now I'm focused again :)

So for the 2 weeks I've been temping I've been between 35.9 and 36.1 (most often closer to 35.9) but this morning I was 36.2 does that count as a temperature shift??? I've not got an OPK with me at work but I'll try one when I get home...

I'm on day 32 now and freaking out at my lack of temp change!

I have had a really stressful month, so I know that can cause delays... And I've lost 45lbs since the start of the year which takes me down to a size 10, but surely that would be agood thing for my hormones?

I just don't know and I'm freaking out! :/
