Weening

Hi all

I just wondered at how many weeks did you start weening your little one and why?
I want to ween slowly not BLW as it seemed to work for us last time and we were both comfortable with it. My eldest was weened at 20 weeks because he was very unsettled and unhappy throughout the days by this point and he was pretty large.

I wanted to weight until at least 6 months with Felix and up until very recently he was very happy exclusively being BF but now he seems to be showing signs of wanting to eat, constantly grabbing at food and getting frustrated when he can't have it and also started waking through the night, happy enough and not hungry.

Any advise would be very much appreciated

BTW i am not nessessarily thinking immediately but let me know what you think please?

I waited until 6 months and before then I would put him in his highchair with bowls and spoons to play with while we ate. I did BLW though.

Thanks maybe I'll get the high chair out so he thinks hes joining in x
