I really need some advice especially if anyone has experienced this - bare with me, its complicated!
I have been TTC for 14mths, over the past 6mths my skin has got really bad and is now classed as hormonal acne, so the doctor said to try dianette for a few months just to see if it improves my skin and as my H2B is away a lot over the next few months TTc would be difficult anyway...
I ovulate anywhere bet. CD 13 - 18 but generally its clear on FF when its occured and sometimes I get a pre-Ov dip. Luteal phase is generally 12/13 days. This month we BD 4 days before and 2 days before OV. I had all my usual PMs signs but horrendous skin which is what forced me to see the doctor - she said when your period starts take the 1st pill....
I normally spot the day before AF, and again I did this month with cramping. I had quite a medium/heavy flow 14 DPO which is bang on time really and my temp was 36.7 which although rare I do sometimes start AF at a high temp, but the next day it plummets. Anyway I took the dianette this evening at 10pm.....
15 Dpo/CD2 my period went lighter - very odd for me, and mainly it was brown, then I would cramp for about half an hour and it would go red, then back to brown. I started with a really bad cold, and my temp shot up to 37.1 - I have never had temps that high, even when Ive had colds in the past.
Could this be dianette - would it even affect me after 1 tablet????
Took the 2nd dianette tablet....
16 Dpo/CD3 - spotting brown, no cramping, temp still high 37.1 - cold still annoying me to death but now really nauseous for hours on end, went off food, and had lots of saliva. Cold still here - not as bad, more worried abotu the sicky feeling.... random
17Dpo/CD4 - still slight spotting, bit more watery really. No cramping, temp dropped but still high 36.8. I am normally down to 36.4/36.5 by CD2. Still nauseous but managed to eat more today, slightly dizzy - had a nosebleed, but still have a bit of a bunged up nose with cold so thats probably why.
So over the past 4 days Ive taken 3 HPTs all negative. My periods normally start spottig, then medium/heavy, then medium, then light, then spotting which could go on a few days - so generally 5 - 7 days of AF
so does anyone know if dianette can bugger you up this badly after 1 pill? Could my cold have done this to my temps/period?? Although its never effected my temp before.
