weird crampy feeling

hi ladies,well for the past couple of days i have been having period type crampy pains but not unberable pain just annoying and uncomfy,went for a walk today and had a clary saige bath to try and relax myself thought i was having contractions that where coing about every ten minutes last about 65 -70 seconds i think they have stopped now but i still have these uncomfortable pains and my back is pretty sore :S any one have any idea's what is going on i am 35 +5 to by the way

I had that feeling and midwife told me it was baby dropping but then changing his mind and 'un-dropping' (going up) said not to worry about it

I've had cramping on and off for about 2 weeks now, the reasons they gave me are:

Braxton hicks
Head dropping further down
Cervix softening
