ive had a weird fuzzy/dizzy head for about 8 months, probably, i think (hope) from lack of sleep. lo is sleeping through now, for abour the last 3 weeks, but im still waking up. although my head feels a tad better, ive still got this horrible 'drunken' feeling.

will it ever go away? ive made many posts about this before, but its getting me down now-please help ! xxx

i did initially and he said it was lack of sleep and exhaustion but bsurely other people dont get this, i know everyones different but....

same ere !! from when morgan was 2wk old ive felt like this, im always moaning bout somat.....but then when hes asleep i cant get to sleep i feel like crap from the min i get up to the min i go to bed then take ages getting to sleep

im going to the docs monday x

Even though I have only been a momma for 5 months, 8 months does seem a little long to still be having this feeling. Maybe you should see a doctor. I had that feeling for a few weeks in the beginning and only get it every now and then now, but it is not that bad. If you are having this everyday and it is bad, you should see a doctor, just to put your mind to rest.

god i would definately go back to the doctor hun, its not normal to feel like that (((((HUGS)))))

id go back to the doctors. you could possible be anemic or maybe no blood sugar x

Do you feel anxious at all? Anxiety can cause dizziness.

Sounds like it could be. I had this in the past and didnt realise that stress/worry/anxiety can cause these physical symptoms!! Do you notice it less when you're concentrating (like driving or example)? Is it worse when you're in the supermarket or department store where there are loads of bright lights? These were just things I noticed. Definitely go see your GP and ask them if it could be anxiety as it can be treated.

I'm so glad that i found this thread as i've been feeling like this since my LO was born. I lost a lot of blood after my section which went unnoticed by the ward staff until i was actually heading out of the door to go home. Nothing was done about it apart from giving me iron tablets as an afterthought. I stopped taking them 3 days later on the advice of my midwife as they caused awful constipation. I'm heading to the gp next week to see what's going on. I know i'm exhausted and anxious but i'm also worried that there's an anaemia issue there too. Bah, hopefully it'll get better with time.
I really feel your pain, hon and hopefully you'll get an answer and start feeling better soon xx

I was on antidepressants which helped but stopped taking them. I also went to see a counsellor for my anxiety which lifted the heady feeling. It tends to come and go try and keep yourself occupied. Go see your gp who will discuss everything and see what the best course of action is. Hth xx

im thinking now, after been prodded to bits i declined an iron test after morgan was born :? at docs 2mro will let uknow wot he says xx

i was iron tablets shortly after the birth, maybe i need to take hem again aswell. ive started taking some multi vitamins too just in case im lacking in some other things xxx
