Today we got the news that my husband didnt make his promotion this cycle. It was his first time trying and this normally wouldn't be a big deal if we hadn't decided that this promotion would be when we wanted to start taking clomid. I think what makes it harder is that my friends husband got it on his first try, they're adopting a baby and they always magically have money too. It's like life always goes so amazing for everyone else, and by the text promotion cycle, my husband will be gone and basically our window for trying to have a child will be gone because of his deployment schedule starting next year. I just give up, it's like fate just won't allow it, and it's time for us to move on and just enjoy what we can have. I don't think I'm gonna be on here much longer, even though I haven't been on here very long. I sincerely with all of my heart and soul wish everyone of you wonderful LTTTC women everything and more.

I am really sorry to hear about your dh. I truly understand how you are feeling. Sometimes it feels like the world is working against us... And if you are anything like me the last thing that you want to hear is..."take a break" "it will happen when its meant to" "dont stress, it will help"!!!!!

I too have a dog (just one though :)...although I would love to have many more!) And he is a big part of my world! With all the amazing things your pets do...and the amount of time commitment and heart that is needed to train, prepare and care for them, I can only imagine what a wonderful and patient mother you WILL be!

It will happen for us! One way or another...!

How long have you been ttc?

Well, um, I like cats, but I still wish you all the best. I did grow up with a dog, a Bichon Frise which may have put me off dogs for life (needy always!). But either way, keep bding, and loving each other and don't loose the life focus, love and happiness. Meow. XXX:hugs:

Readytostart- thank you. Working dogs is what I do, I love it and its my passion. We have been TTC for 5 years.

My husband came home from work and saw me crying, he said "screw a promotion, we're just gonna keep trying". So clomid is our next step I suppose, and if we get a baby out of it and we're broke, at least we'll be happy, because things haven't fulfilled us yet.

I hate this journey and the emotional roller coaster we're constantly on. I truly hate it. At least I can still say we have our sex life and our passion for each other.

Hey ReadytoStart...I agree with what you said...it will happen...one way or another for us all!

I agree with ur DH! Keep trying! I just started Clomid Monday! Try it! If a baby is what u think will make u happy, dont give up! Fingers crossed and lots of baby dust to u!

Sorry about the promotion :( but I agree just keep trying. You'll find a way to pay for a baby when it happens!
