ok so me n olly dont agree on ANY names at all....... i like more modern name s and he prefers more traditional names..... so after a little brainstorm over text... he called n got frustrated with me and said 'ok you chose, i dont mind whatever you chose ill like it. so there ya go, its up to you' i felt really bad n i was frustrated because we were sposed to pick a name together... so i text him saying..... 'you dont like lola and i dont like louise.... so how about we agree to disagree and call her lola-louise' to which he replied..... 'i love it' since that day hes told anyone who will listen that his daughter is called lola-louise ! bless....

i have 2 other children... harry-j and ella-may so i think lola-louise fits nicely.

i have alot of mixed feeling about it tho.... the most common thing i hear is..... 'wasnt there a song about a tranny called lola' or 'isnt it a drag queen name' grrrrr bit frustrating.... x

I love Lola and it was between that and Daisy in the delivery room, have to say tho of the two she just looked like a Daisy . I LOVE it, great choice . xx

Well, you are getting those comments bc that is what many people associate with the name Lola, due to the two songs....

But, it's becoming a popular & trendy name -- so people will start to associate Lola with their niece, or friend's daughter, or some cute little baby they know.... Especially, peers of your daughter in her generation....

Lola-Louise sounds cute together, and goes well with your other two children's names.... and best of all you & hubby were able to compromise & both love it! That's what is most important!
