Layla has thrush at the moment as well. We just went to the chemist and got Nilstat drops for her and they gave me a oral gel to put on my nipples when ever i treat her. We started the treatments 3 days ago and it is pretty much gone already! It is great!

Can you get them without prescription? If you can that's good to know if it's every over a weekend or you're away from home and need them:D

Not quite, but we're getting there. I'm not meant to stop feeding am I?

I'm not sure hun, some people would say yes and others no, I think its a personal choice again

Nah - you can feed so long as you both get treated I think. Not much point for the sake of a few more hours

Good good! I think we can manage it. I don't want to stop.. Ever........ (addicted much?)

Yeah don't stop feeding, if you do your going to effect your milk supply, it's perfectly fine to keep feeding you just have to treat both of you and be really careful about anything that touches her mouth or you and sterilize lots to be sure you don't give it back to her or yourself. I hope you get something that starts helping soon!

Me and Benn got thrush a few times it went really quickly with cream and medicine. Hope you get it sorted soon its not nice :(

Yeah, it took me ages to get him to agree that Caitlyn needed it too though!!

What is it with these Dr's?! Good job you knew isnt it or you'd never get rid.

Glad you're sorted :D

Exactly! If I didn't come on here I'd never have even known what it was

Oh no, there really is nothing worse!! DS and I battled with thrush for 14 weeks and honestly the only thing that cleared it up and quickly was probiotics! Nystatin and Daktarin didn't do a thing for us!
