What age for a big boy cot?

Hi ladies

My little man has outgrown his Moses basket and is in a crib at nighttime but I'm just wondering when we should start using the cot?

When did you move your LO's into their cots or plan on doing so...?

My LO has been in his since he was just over a month old he'd already outgrown his moses basket he kept hitting the sides and waking himself up. Bless him it looked like an Olympic sized swimming pool compared to him when he first went in it

Anna started to become really unsettled in her moses basket around 12wks - she liked to sleep on her side and she would bash herself trying to roll in the basket - thats when we moved her into her cotbed

My DS went in his cotbed quite late compared to the other ladies LO's, he went in it at 5 months x

Straight away. LO never slept much in her Moses basket and went straight into her cot. It had 3 sides and was pushed up against our bed as a kind of triple bed extension so maybe it doesn't count.

Jack had his first night last night. He was in his moses basket and then his crib but is just to big for it now

Chloe went in her cotbed at the weekend so 4wks old, shes a pretty long baby though so was running out of room, she always waves her hands about when asleep so kept waking herself up hitting the moses basket.

My son went in his cot in our room at about 4 weeks I think as he outgrew his Moses basket. I don't think we'd bother again with a Moses basket!

my lowent into her cotbed around 4 and a half month think almost 5 months. but she still fitted init so we didnt need to change till then.
shes i her cot bed next to us now. she still lokks so tiny init lol

Never had a moses basket. We had a bassinet until he outgrew it at 4 months. Then he went straight into his full size crib.
