what age to put premmie in bedroom?

Hi my little girl was born at 28 weeks. Shes now 20 weeks old (8weeks corrected) and I was wondering if anyone else has a prem baby, when did you put them in their own room?

We put our 27 weeker at about 9 months (6 corrected)
I guess its down to your own feelings and how things work in your house

Our term baby is still in my room at 2

We went with 6 months corrected as well although I do know parents who have done it sooner. TBH even with a full term I would have them in my room until 6 months old which is why I went with 6 months corrected.

We put our 27 weeker in her own room at 10 months (7 corrected) using the Angel care monitor, she settled into her room fine but I missed her, used to love waking up with her beside me.

I put her in her own room at around 5.5 months (3 corrected). She was moving around way too much to be in a bassinet and her crib was way too big for my room.

Stqlkimg this thread as I have been wondering this too as my lo sometimes wiggles so much in her bassinet. She is only 14 weeks, 8 weeks adjusted, and ideally I wanted her in our room until at least 3 months, if not 6 months... Her room is all the way upstairs. I just worry about her in the bassinet for much longer as only the top 1/3rd of the sides is mesh, the rest is fabric and sometimes she manages to wiggle herself down and she likes to put her face up against fabric if given the chance.

It's one of those things, you don't want to make a decision you will regret but how do you know what is right?!?

That's how my daughter was too. It got to the point where she would be laying right in the bottom of the bassinet. Having her in her own room with an angel care monitor has worked out perfectly for us.
