I called the maternity ER again today, they told me I can come tonight & then they can give me an apt for early labour?

What does that mean? Do I have the option to be induced to pass the baby out? I don't want to go for a D&C , the idea is freaking me out.

I'm spotting brown mucusy blood now, I want to wait for a while but I feel lost

Should I go to the ER tonight or should I wait?

Oh Omars Mum - I am so sorry to hear!! I just had a D&C on Friday after my pregnancy didn't develop - we never heard a heartbeat
I had it done under a local only, and while the pain was strong, it was bearable and a very short procedure. I was only 7.5 weeks along however - I think you are a few weeks ahead of me. If I am not mistaken, after a certain point, they no longer give medications only to get a miscarriage going...FWIW, I am very well now, just hoping no infection develops.
Again, I am so sorry - for both you and myself.

Oh I'm so sorry for your lost hun..!! I had mine 5 weeks ago and I also started with brown spotting for 2 days third day I was booked to see the dr and I had contractions while I was there.. so mine just started naturally .. but the pain was unbearble I would rather go for a d&c.. then to go through all the pain physically and emotionaly.. It's not so nice seeing your baby on your pad ... :(

I am so sorry hun :hugs:

If you want to give your body time then you can if you wish, it does seem like things are heading towards a natural miscarriage with the spotting.

They will do medical management if you wish, this is a tablet (one or two), you have this no matter how far along you are. I even had it with Honey (36+6) and Riley Rae (24+3) although didnt know that is what I was doing. This will just start off, as they say, an early labour/miscarriage.

Or there is the d&c, I've never had this as I have always just waited. I am terrified of hospitals and procedures so that just isnt an option for me.

If you want to talk you know where I am :hugs:

Thanks ladies , & so sorry for your losses :hugs:

I went to the ER, there is no blood & it didn't start yet, they will send me an SMS with apt date to see an OB who will admit me for a D&C . They also advised me to come back to the ER if bleeding starts before the apt

Thanks for your support :hugs:

Oh hun I am so sorry for your loss. :hugs: I had a MMC at 8+1 and I had a D&C. Only you know what's right for you. :hugs:

I had a medically managed MC, i was given a tablet to take orally and then a day later and internal which started contractions. It was painful but i was given strong painkillers and rested. They monitored my bloodloss (which was quite bad but the lady said that it rarely happened so heavily and that i was a bit of a scary exception for them) they will probably check your iron levels etc.

I like you, was petrified of a D&C and even with the complications i suffered, i would go for the medically managed again.

Whatever you decide hun, we are all thinking about you :hugs:
