What are my rights on the NHS?

Firstly, I have been told very clearly that I have 2 separate uteruses (uterus didelphys) - this was diagnosed a couple years ago.

I still don't have a baby despite trying for 2 years now, I got pregnant once after 11 months trying and sadly lost the baby. Here I am a year later - not concieved again. I have had blood tests which suggest I'm fertile (husband has great sperm) and ultrasounds, and now I have been for an MRI scan to look at the uteri because since last seeing a consultant I have moved and not all of the notes got sent over and they reckon I have bicornuate (one of my earlier incorrect diagnoses). The consultant kindly said "I hope for your sake you don't have uterus didelphys" which has haunted me since.

Anyhow, I was told after the MRI (yesterday) that I need to phone up & book another appointment - so I did today & got one for April 10th. My problem is the woman I spoke to said I have to see the same unkind consultant because he's the only person to run the infertility clinics.

What are my rights here? I'm upset that I have no choice but to see him.

Please don't read and run xxxx :flower:

I think the nhs has a choices thing where you got to see which ecpver dr you like and any hospital. Google nhs choices, to confirm though. Then google other hospitals in your area.

Good luck
