Woman at the doctors said to try teething powders for my lo as she looks like she is teething (drooling and sucking on fists alot) but what are they and what do you do with them?
She said to get them in the chemist - Anyone used them? And any good?

I have started using neksons teething powders for Sam when his gums are sore they come in little sachets and you just pour them into his mouth and they dissolve in there i have to say they work better than anbasol or teething gel for us.

i have been given ashton parsons teething powder, its brilliant. it comes in little sachets and you just pour it into their mouth. x

I have used both Ashtons and Nelsons, i prefer Nelsons as the whole packet goes in, Ashtons it is half a packet, which I find fiddly.

I get them both from boots.

:)

We have Ashton Parsons too. My sister and SIL swear by them but I've got to say I've not noticed them help Byron.

The Ashton and Parsons powders are a godsend for us! Thomas loves them and even opens his mouth for them now when he sees the wrapper! They seem to make him feel a bit better too!

Thanks everyone, for some reason I thought it would be added to her milk!
I'll see how she goes on and if it gets bad I'll give them a whirl.

I really rate the Aston and parsons teething powders. (Cheaper in Wilkos and savers!)
AJ opens his mouth ready for them, they're his 'sherbet'.
I found putting them onto a spoon to begin with helped especially if your using half of one.

We bought some today to try on Abby. I just can't get over how much they look like a wrap of cocaine though!!!

I give Patrick the Nelsons Teetha powders and they work like magic - he even likes the taste and will stop grizzling as soon as i pop the powder on his tongue.

And you would know how? :dohh:

did they work?

Funny, my mum asked the same thing. I saw it on telly once....:happydance:

Haven't tried them yet. We're not sure if she is actually teething. Furious hand chewing and drooling are the only symptoms.
