What are the next steps for 1 fallopian tube open?

Really? umm i know thier were cysts in my ovaries, When i had the surgery done, she said she found severe Edometreosis which she burnt out. ??

i too have 1 open, i twisted but 2 working ovaries . its possible for the egg to be picked up by the open tube but unlikely. we have been told to go for IVF as im 38 ...it will be quicker i guess

just wanted to give you some hope...i had my left ovary & tube removed at 2 days old as it had cysts on....i conceived my daughter after just 6 mths in 2005....i now have such a beautiful 4 year old so there is hope 4 all us women with 1 ovary/tube! xx

When i had my lap etc they found I had a chronic infection for which i took antibiotics last cycle. So hoping this cycle works if infection cleared up, however i am back to the docs on 16th Dec as it will have been three cycles since my op and they said if it was going to happen then the first three months should be the most fertile. I'll let you know what they say after the appointment (i'll be about 7dpo but obviously still going and seeing what the plan of action is).
I'm 37 and they don't offer IVF on the NHS in my area.

I only have one tube and I got clomid to improve chance of ovulation on the good side. I became pregnant on the second cycle.

Please dont anyone give up hope, I was nearly at the end of my tether and was trying to do the positive mindset thing, and it was hard! But really positive thoughts ladies and I really think that plays a big part!

I was due to be sterilised on 21 jan, as my other tube was so rubbish, and once we heard that we relaxed as we thought it wouldnt happen and low and behold he were are 8 weeks pregnant!

Dont give up hope. As long as the blocked tube is not infectious then you should be fine otherwise they may want to remove that tube. I would also suggest clomid if you have never been on it before.
